The women’s Air Jordan 7 “Black Patent Leather” takes a luxurious route to updating Michael Jordan’s seventh signature design with Nike. Sporting accenting that is reminiscent of the “Raptor” Jordan 7 colorway, a shoe with as loyal of a following as any within the popular series, the “Black Patent Leather” update uses glossy black leather overlays to contrast the black nubuck base. A vibrant embroidered Jumpman rests on the ankle collar with a colorful pattern on the tongue inspired by African tribal patterns. A purple nylon pull tab with “23” branding in bright red numbering contrasts the sleek appearance. Like the “Raptor” Air Jordan 7 that Jordan wore throughout the ‘92 NBA Playoffs, the midsole uses a color scheme similar to the team uniform colors of the Toronto Raptors with a colorful tribal-like pattern on the outsole completing the look.
